The beautiful quark can grind both peppercorns and salt flakes, so it does not matter which one you use for what. It is made of oak with a nice lid of ceramic. The delicious design is made in collaboration with the designer Hans-Christian Bauer and Kähler Design. They have opened up a whole new style of Kähler and the grinders are part of the absolutely beautiful Hammershøi steel series. The Hammershøi series is a mixture of glass, ceramics and oak, which shows that Kähler can do much more than just ceramics. The large grinders from Kähler certainly do not exclude the new small ones, they just add one more set to your home and one set to each apartment.
