With your smartphone in hand, you can feed your best friend anytime, anywhere.
The PetSafe® Smart Feed app is free and the machine is connected via home wi-fi. This makes it possible to plan, adjust and monitor your pet's meals whether you are at home or at work. The built-in sensors in the feeder mean that you receive a message if it is about to run out of food.
The automatic feeder can contain 24 cups of dry food, and its unique design means that virtually all solid food, regardless of shape and size, can be used here.
The meals can be planned up to 12 times a day in sizes from 1/8 cup to 4 cups per meal. There is also an optional slow-feed setting which distributes the meals that are set to over 1/8 cup, over 15 minutes, if you have a pet that tends to eat too quickly. At the same time, there is also a feed-now option, which allows you to serve a meal as soon as you press the button in the app.

There will be a stainless food bowl included in the purchase, this is fixed to the machine via a holder so that the pet cannot move the bowl while eating.

In order to be able to connect the Smart feeder with your smartphone, it requires a wireless router of min. 2.4 GHz. And works with devices such as iPhones or iPads with iOS 9.0 or later, and compatible Android smartphones version 6.0 or later.
