Danish war film from 1945 based on Knud Sønderby's book of the same name.
In Den Usynlige Hær you can experience Mogens Wieth in one of his great roles as a freedom fighter in Denmark during the occupation. During the war, many couples separated, and so does Alice (Bodil Kjer) and Poul (Mogens Wieth). While Poul is at the front, Alice begins a relationship with Jørgen, who has always been in love with her. One day, Poul suddenly appears and the conflicts escalate in the midst of the troubles of war.
The film is directed by Johan Jacobsen, and features, among others, Mogens Wieth, Bodil Kjer and Ebbe Rode.
